Open de España 2009

The stunning scenery of the Catalunya course formed the perfect setting for this prestigious golf tournament, held in Girona in Spain’s Catalonia region. Structures from Owen Brown’s contemporary Absolute range complemented the newly built clubhouse on this world class golf course.

Three 10m X 10m Absolute structures, each featuring the apex roof, were used at the event, whilst a range of smaller versions provided information points and work stations for the world’s TV and media.

In addition to Absolute, our Ultimate pagoda style structures were much in evidence on the course, as a series of 5m X 5m retail outlets. Meanwhile, a 20m X 25m from the established Premier range formed a busy press centre. Owen Brown also provided a 20m x 35m Double Decker structure by the side of the 18^th Green, used for VIP Hospitality.
